Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Hauling Auto Transportation LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote, booking a transport, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Booking, Quotes & Pricing

All quotes provided by Hauling Auto Transportation LLC are estimates based on the information you provide (vehicle type, pickup/delivery locations, dates, and special requirements). A confirmed booking is created when you receive a written confirmation from us (email or text) and any required deposit or payment is received.

Quotes may change if the information you provided changes (e.g., incorrect vehicle dimensions, additional stops, significant route deviations, or changes in pickup/delivery access). Fuel surcharges, tolls, and other third-party fees may be added to the final invoice where applicable.

Payments & Deposits

• A deposit may be required to secure a booking. The deposit amount will be stated in your confirmation.
• Final payment is due prior to or at delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be communicated at booking (card, ACH, bank transfer, etc.).
• If payment is not received within agreed timelines, we reserve the right to delay or cancel transport.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us directly. Cancellation fees may apply depending on timing:

• Cancellation more than 7 days before pickup: deposit refunded less any processing fees.
• Cancellation 3–7 days before pickup: deposit may be partially retained.
• Cancellation less than 72 hours before pickup: deposit may be forfeited and additional fees may apply.

We will work with you to reschedule when possible. If we must cancel due to safety, weather, or operational reasons, we will notify you and offer alternatives or a full refund.

Pickup & Delivery Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is in the condition described at booking and that the pickup location has legal access for our carrier.
• Vehicles should be free of major leaks, have less than 1/4 tank of fuel, and be operable unless otherwise arranged.
• Remove personal items — Hauling Auto Transportation LLC is not responsible for loss or damage to items left in vehicles.
• At delivery, you or a designated representative must inspect the vehicle and note any concerns on the carrier’s paperwork.

Insurance & Liability

Hauling Auto Transportation LLC maintains liability coverage consistent with industry standards. Basic insurance details will be provided upon request. You may choose additional coverage through our carriers at extra cost.

Our liability for loss or damage to your vehicle is limited to the carrier’s insurance policy limits and the terms of the bill of lading or transport agreement. We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage not disclosed before pickup
• Damage caused by improper preparation (e.g., loose parts, unsecured accessories)
• Loss of personal items left in vehicle
• Consequential or incidental damages (lost wages, rental costs, etc.) unless required by law

To file a claim, you must notify us and the carrier immediately at the time of delivery and provide documented evidence (photos, inspection reports). All claims must be submitted within the carrier’s stated time limits.

Damage Claims Process

1. Inspect the vehicle at the time of delivery and note any damage on the carrier’s paperwork.
2. Take clear photos of damage and damaged areas immediately.
3. Contact Hauling Auto Transportation LLC within 24 hours of delivery to report damage.
4. We will open a claim with the carrier and guide you through the documentation and repair estimates needed.

Failure to follow the claims process or to document damage at delivery may limit or void your right to recover damages.

Delays & Force Majeure

We aim to meet scheduled pickup and delivery windows, but delays may occur due to traffic, weather, mechanical issues, carrier availability, or unforeseen events. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control (force majeure).

Third-Party Carriers & Subcontracting

Hauling Auto Transportation LLC may use third-party carriers or subcontractors to perform transport services. When we subcontract, we will make reasonable efforts to select reputable carriers and ensure compliance with insurance and licensing requirements. The carrier’s terms and insurance policies may apply to your shipment.

Access, Accuracy & Representations

You represent that the information you provide during booking (vehicle condition, dimensions, pickup/delivery locations, contact details) is accurate and complete. Providing inaccurate information may result in additional charges, delays, or refusal of service.

Intellectual Property

All material on our website (text, images, logos) is owned by Hauling Auto Transportation LLC or used with permission and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or content without written permission.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information. By using our services you consent to the terms described in the Privacy Policy (see privacy.html).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hauling Auto Transportation LLC, our officers, agents, employees, and subcontractors from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or negligent acts.

Limitation of Liability

Except where prohibited by law, Hauling Auto Transportation LLC’s total liability for damages arising out of or related to our services shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific transport service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
